GRANT APPLICATION
The application procedure is divided into two parts. Prior to submitting a formal grant request (part two) applicants are requested to submit a project proposal (part one) detailing the following:
It is a stipulation of a grant award that the Foundation be kept up to date, in writing, on the project’s development. The schedule of this reporting will be agreed on by the grantee and the Foundation. If the Foundation feels that their funds are not being used as agreed, it has the right to cancel and ask for the return of funds.
Applications are accepted throughout the year and considered at our quarterly meetings. The Foundation does not automatically acknowledge receipt of applications, but an initial response may be expected, in writing, within approximately four weeks after the application closing date. Application closing dates are disclosed to those asked to complete our application form.
- The priority area of the project
- The period of time for which funds are requested
- Justification of the project and description of the beneficiaries
- The objectives of the project
- The activities that will be undertaken to achieve the goals
- The total budget and financial coverage of the project
